Moorea Seal, Store Grand Opening

Location: Moorea Seal

1012 1st Ave Suite 150, Seattle, WA 98104

I first "met" Moorea Seal on Instagram. I was drawn into her Instagram account after she had already made a name for her brand on Pinterest and I immediately felt like I had found a friend.

Moorea is a fantastic curator, designer, writer, and friend to women in business. As she speaks, writes, designs, or opens a new eponymous storefront - it is all done through a rosy-hued viewfinder. Aside from the brand color pallet of rose, mauve, and champagne, the overall optimism of her work gently pulls you in. It invites you to become part of her woman-powered tribe.

Moorea's ability to succinctly share her ideals for business, home, and relationships shines in her three books (Make Yourself at Home, 52 Lists for Happiness, The 52 List Project) and bleeds over into her new, downtown Seattle storefront. I was eager to visit after watching weeks and weeks of construction progress on Moorea's Instastories, and was warmly invited to join the Grand Opening.

I found myself driving through the mountain passes, alone and happy to pull out my camera and to immortalize another beginning for her. Moorea's new store is bright (but soft), organic with flora from Swansons Nursery, presented with a renewed earthy color pallet in clothing and accessories, and metallic jewelry mixed with natural textiles. As I took in her new storefront, I noticed every surface is an opportunity to snap a perfect flatlay for easy social sharing.

With Storyville Coffee right across the street, this is a perfect setting for meeting with girlfriends, and making an afternoon of downtown Seattle shopping. Check out some highlights from my time at Moorea's Grand Opening!
